The strength, determination, and loyalty ofMr. Cyrus Montrose served the team well.The two team members who participated inthe final capture of the bad guy would probably not have survived the experiencewithout his able assistance.

Demetrio and the guysfought like wild men,and partied like therewas no tomorrow…

Eventually, as often happens in war, therewasn’t.

But until then, therewere Federales to kill,white horses to ride, and women to…fight with?

An awful lot of the time, it seemed as though the guysdidn’t really know what they were fighting for…

Yet they fought on anyway, devoted to their uncertain cause.

The ending of the novel wasstunning. The image of Demetrio aiming his rifleinto eternity is not one I will soon forget.
