Comments re Circulation Promo Points

1. I think we need more circulation promotion on the home page – my wish list would be:

a) Ad upper right corner under Search Box (slider 4, 5 or 6)b) Ad upper perhaps to left of the SKYNEWS – something about the current issue? (slide 4, 5 or 6)c) Can we have a SUBSCRIBE button on the footer at bottom of all pages (slide 8)d) Can we have a section on the home page that looks like the edit boxes but promotes subs (slide 7)

• As you know I work on Macleans and we have done lots of research on what works on the web re sub sales – the spots mentioned above are what have been determined to work best. I’ve also attached samples of each in slides

• Popular Science home page is also attached with similar ad placement• I can provide ad copy and design direction or get Janice to design some ads if this helps – just give me specs and a

deadline

2. Can the FOLLOW SKYNEWS Bar be higher up and more colourful – maybe say CONNECT with SKYNEWS? a) See slides 4 and 9b) Popular Science puts this high up on the home page – see slidec) Should we hi-light the newsletter a bit more? Maybe with colour and more copy?

3. On Subscribe Drop Down Click Thrus– Can we make these pages more marketing oriented? Can I send you copy and graphic suggestions? If yes please give me a deadline

4. Should STORE drop down say E-STORE?
