Definition: It is an approach to
understanding human behavior on how people relate to others.
Importance:It has the ability to deal with the
entire range of human behavior in a consistent and understandable way.

Parent Ego State
represents all the attitudes and behaviors that we have copied from our parents and others who served as parents figures as we were growing up.
Adult Ego State
This is related to the person’s ability to size up reality, to analyze the odds, and to act accordingly.
Child Ego State
this is always selfish, easily angered, often fickle and fascinated by the idea of doing wrong.
Life Positions
Two ways: * OK* NOT OK
Four (4) positions:1. I’m OK – You’re OK2. I’m not OK – You’re OK3. I’m not OK – You’re not OK4. I’m OK – You’re not OK
Role Playing
