Make sure you are in a well lit room with no sound distractions.

It can help if you plan and practise what your going to say beforehand; a script can be handy.

Be facing the camera directly and speak clearly.

Most of all relax and have fun with it.

Set the scene

Visit www.youtube.com Click on the ‘Upload’ button at top of screen.

Sign in with your YouTube account details when prompted.

Sign into YouTube

Once you are signed into your account select the ‘Record from webcam’ option

Allow webcam access if prompted.

When you are ready to begin click on the ‘Start Recording’ button.

When you are ready to finish click on the ‘Stop Recording’ button.

If you are unhappy with how the vlog went you can click on the ‘Start Over’ button, otherwise click on the ‘Upload’ button.

Now all you need to do is add a Title and a Description.

The other options you can leave in their default settings for now.
