Aestethic approach

Introducing an artistic approach...

Informational approach

+

• Passive interaction• Visual representation of conversations• Information display - basic level

• Active interaction• Possibility to expand the visualization• Information display - deeper level

Why are we doing this?

• To design something that would make the waiting experience more plesurable, giving people a sense of the meaning that the activities they engage in during the waiting time have and making them aware of the social space they are in and of the effect they have on it

• To investigate the possibilities of speech recognition technology

• To design something nice

Possible contexts for implementation

• Hotels• Museums• Conferences• Cafès• Exhibitions• ...

Design challages and criteria for success

• Giving the interpretation of speech a meaningful structure• Combining a pleasant aestithic with usable information

Our goals for the final project

• Implement the visual aspect in a high fidelity prototype

• Design a clear concept for a logical interpretation of the captured data

To summarize...

Nuclei is an interactive application to visualize data collected

from a conversation in an aestethic way, which lets the user

get more information regarding the conversation through

active interaction.
