A two-month, cooperative summer learning experience

seeking to address environmental, social, andeconomic issues in the Worcester area.

Summer of Solutions will empower participants ("solutionaries") to develop skills to create real change and do something incredible and meaningful with their summer!

:Goals of the Program• Create a collaborative community

that will address energy and environmental justice issues facing Worcester.

–To create pulic spaces and opportunities for involvement –To build healthy, just communities and sustainable green

jobs–To build the local green economy and community-level

energy solutions–To share ideas and learn from each other as a community

How will we do this??

• Bring together 30-40 Solutionaries in Worcester!• Develop 3 hands-on collaborative projects for

Solutionaries to work on in:– Residential Energy Efficiency, Local Food, Green

Jobs, and Sustainable Transportation• Hold public forums, events, potlucks, workshops,

speakers, and open mics through-out the program• Share knowledge through skill-shares run by

Solutionaries• Have a fun summer together!
