Who is the AccessAbility SIG?

Were a small, quiet, and dedicated group. Promoting accessibility as part of the technical communicators toolkit is probably the simplest way to sum up our SIG. One of the SIGs major contributions to the Society is our conference accessibility guide. Look for news about the guide in the next few months. Its for everyone.

Accessibility is really about inclusion and universal design. The experience of disability is "a universal human experience according to WHO (http://www.who.int/classifications/icf/en/) Lets stop thinking about the silos of disability and make our work inclusive for everyone.
Technical communicators are the perfect people for that job.
