1. Include your photo

Create a Group

• What would your group about? Brainstorm some topics.

• Do some research.

• Best to choose a choose a narrow niche and specialty category

• If the need is there, create, promote, maintain, monitor

Claim your organization’s page

1. Go to “Add a “Company” on the right-side of the “Companies” tab

2. If your organization already has a page, you’ll be prompted to claim it

3. If not, you are then asked to create one

4. Follow the steps to claim/create the page

5. Set up the page: add a logo, description, website, Twitter, etc.

Optimize your organization’s profile

• Add products and services

• Add a YouTube video (PSA, intro video)

• Upload up to three banner

• Assign someone to update regularly

• Leverage existing content

LinkedIn Answers

• Great place to check if you have a question about the workplace or nonprofit tech

• Answers are rated and the top ones show up first

• Lots of great best practices, examples

• People are willing to help!
