OPERATION PINE SHIELDOPERATION PINE SHIELDIt is the mission of Eagle BN to lead the US Army defensive operations in Turpentania from Jan12 till May12 IOT prevent the South Augusta Province Army (SAPA) from harassing local Turpentania populace and exploiting the countries natural resources.

Facts of Interest: Location of US Army Global Specialization Unit (GSU) training facility. Home of 6 time Division 1AA National Champions. Home of 2 time MacArthur award winning Eagle BN.

Local Populace: Largely made up of hippie cults, especially in northern Sweetheart Circle Region. Spend large amounts of time in hammocks, and playing guitar seated with legs crossed. While not a threat to the mission they serve no benefit and should be avoided. If seen early in the morning increase level of running cadence volume and continue training.

TurpentanianFacts of Interest: Small country known for rich turpentine trade. Currently being harassed and occupied by SAPA forces due to small army and abundance of natural resources.

Local Populace : Wear ACU style pants with tan T-shirts. Will offer information of SAPA activity to American Soldiers. Begin conversations with exchange of jokes. Expect to be given a stick of gum for giving information.

SAPA Army PersonnelFacts of Interest: Run by Communist Anti-Reagan Party (CARP). Hostile nation that has invaded and is currently occupying two countries north of Turpentania. Are believed to have plans of invading Brutopia to terrorize US relations in that country.

Military Personnel: Wear SAPA uniform (black T-shirt, red headgear) when in Turpentania. Will most likely fight to the death. Armed with semi automatic rifles and hand grenades. Are considered valuable intelligence assets if captured alive. Will attempt to flee if captured so must be handled securely.

Warrior Forge is the single most important event thus far in the career of a Cadet or officer candidate. It is often their first exposure to Army life on an active Army installation and one of the few opportunities where Cadets/candidates from various parts of the country undergo a common, high-quality training experience.

• Ensure you have all Travelers Orders, Traveler Itinerary, and Government ID

• Ensure you have PMS Number• Bring no more than $100.00 for

emergencies; Food, baggage claim, etc.

• Mark baggage with easily identifiable method (i.e. Neon colored tape wrapped around duffel)

Departure

• Contact PMS upon arrival to Seattle-Tacoma airport (SEATAC).

• Upon arrival retrieve baggage and report to the ROTC Travel Desk. Personnel located at this desk will direct Cadets to transportation to Joint Base Lewis McChord (JBLM)

• Cadets will be bussed to JBLM and separated into their specific regiments upon arrival

• IF TRAVEL ISSUES ARISE IMMEDIATELY CONTACT YOUR PMS
