Shine and poverty

Why mobile applications are developed so slow and expensive

For mobile applications need to develop two parts - the backend and frontend. In contrast to the beautiful frontend backend developed ugly and quickly getting hundreds of vulnerabilities and slow work.

There are platforms that offer "Mobile Backend as a Service", but they all share one feature.

Do you want to know what kind of feature? Average backend will likely require a developer about 2 weeks of work, or about $12,000.

They are terribly slow”Permitted number of hits for the one free app - less than once per second. But what if you

have more than one app user?” This means that the server is not capable of handling heavy loads.

You can grow the platform in the cloud, every few hours adding a new server instance. But each new server - this is new expenses, even if it is virtual.

Or you can use SpeedLight as your favorite MbaaS platform.

The three our pillars

Erlang - a combination of convenience, design, speed and built-in parallelism of all the languages that are suitable for web development

Mongodb - a document-oriented database, which allows easy growth on additional servers

High level API's - from the list of customers to a full store

Potential risks

The dangers that can be

● Lack of experience of the team We can involve students and teachers in computer science from the local university – BSU

● Market entry strategy risk To reduce this risk, we plan to work with the communities of developers

● Financial Risk We plan to negotiate with large customers immediately after the prototype to link them to our product
