Quick Facts

How it WorksNonprofits create a fun or inspirational photo or video contestand invite their supports and their network to participate.

We publish their contest page on our web site with tools toinvite their followers on social media. Nonprofits promote thecontest using their social and traditional marketing channels.

When contest participants sign up, they have to either make adonation pledge or commit to volunteer for the nonprofit. Then contestants simply start snapping, posting, and sharingtheir photos or short-videos on Instagram or Twitter to win aprize offered by the nonprofit.

We handle contest creation, participant sign up, and trackingphoto or video galleries.

Flexible ToolContests can be run as a separate event between largertraditional events, or they can be joined-up with a special funevent, like a race or a walkathon where many people carrytheir mobile phone cameras.

Why User Generated Photos and Videos?

More Engaging ContentPictures, whether they are photos or videos, can tell a story. Most nonprofits publish photos of their events, but rarely letusers post their own photos for a cause. They are missing anopportunity to let their supporters shine a light on their favoritecause.

More Viral ContentStudies have shown that photos and videos are shared andliked twice as much as other content on large social mediasites. They are a great way to promote your cause quickly, at alow cost, and reach a larger audience.

Big AudienceAlmost everyone carries a smartphone camera in their purse orpocket. And hundreds of millions of people are active users onInstagram and Twitter. Its easy to use, and fun for contestants.
