Saving on Macs 101: �

saving work into your student folder �

Make sure to select File > Save As… �

Notice it defaults to the

“Downloads” folder.�

From the dropdown menu select “users” �

From the dropdown menu select “users” �

Find your name on the list (you will only be able to edit your own folder) �

Make sure to rename your file!�

Put your work in the appropriate folder, and hit “Save” �

Next time you want to save your work, you can use the shortcut (it will remember to save in the same place!) �

But how do I retrieve my work the next day? �

Log on to the computer.�Select Go>Computer �

In the drive called “Home$” you will find your student folder.�

Find the correct folder, then open up your file! Get to work!�
