Partner wise performance in Plant growth

Comparative Average Paddy Yield in Manipur ( both Hills and valley)

Impact • Through SRI promotion, agriculture extension work has improved especially in hill District of Manipur. • The farmer has aware of intensify work in agriculture with improve method and mechanizing for more

production. The efficient use of nursery is another great impact that the farmer has releasing the important raising nursery in proper way for plant growth and which is directly effect in yield.

• The irrigation facility is another concern to improve food production.

• The KVK takes over the area where RNBA is promoting SRI, besides an additional activity has been taken up such as promotion of Mustard; M-27, 120 kg seed in 10 ha, Pea 220 kg seed in 2 ha and potato 40 bags; (50 kg/bag) to SRI farmers.

• Oil seed extraction machine is being proposed to the Govt. by KVK for SHG.

• Assistance from Agriculture Department and ICAR/KVK such as seed, bio-fertilizer-200 kg (IRMA), Marker, Cono weeder; PRDA-20, YES-15, RCDS-10 @ 500 in subsidies rate etc.

• One of our partner i.e. RAS is now promoting 200 SRI farmers with the support of NABARD in Churachandpur District of Manipur.

• Up scaling of khaichum i.e. integration of fish within the Rice field in Ukhrul.
