CCW MiraDRAIN 5000, a drainage geocomposite system, has

been applied at the slope for drainage. More than 80,000m2 of

MiraDRIAN 5000 will be installed as slope drainage in this project.

By comparing the traditional granular filter, using MiraDRIAN 5000

can save a lot of time and labor cost during installation.

CCW MiraDRIAN 5000 provides an aggregate free drainage

system. Each panel consists of a uniquely molded

three-dimensional dimpled core formed out of high-impact

polystyrene. This high-strength, crush-resistant core is laminated to

filter fabric that prevents soil from entering the drainage channel

at both sides.

Seeking for thinner drainage layer is necessary in this project as

the slope area is very limited. The thickness of MiraDRIAN 5000 is

10.2mm, which can replace 300mm thick granular filter. In

addition, MiraDRIAN 5000 provide excellent water flow rate. Due to

its lightweight and ease installation, it can reduce the time of

installation.
