Rank High in Google Using
Slideshare
Trying to find an easy way
to rank high in Google? …
that is free?
Stop Racking Your Brains.
Greg Cassar, Internet Marketing Strategist,
will show you the easiest way to get High Rankings in
Google at this point in
time
Your High Google Ranking Arsenal
Use SlideShare.net to post an online version of your highly relevant valuable content
SlideShare.net is a Web 2.0 social media content site that allows you to upload, favorite, bookmark, tag, and comment on slide shows.
So How Do You Do It
1. Research the Longtail keyword that you want to rank for
using the Google Keyword Tool at
https://adwords.google.com/select/KeywordToolExternal
2. Choose a keyword phrase which exactly matches the
content but does not have millions of competing sites
(Tens or Hundreds of thousands of competing sites is
usually fine).
So How Do You Do It
3. Use the exact search phrase:
– As the file name of the power point slide (eg.
Keyword phrase.ppt)
– As the Title of Your Power Point
– Naturally within the presentation. This means write
for the reader not the search engines but be aware
of what words you use
So How Do You Do It
4. Create an account at SlideShare.net and upload your
presentation
– Use your exact keyword phrase as the title of your
presentation listing and also in the keyword tags
and in the description associated with the
slideshare.net listing.
Don’t Forget To
• Update Your SlideShare.net profile to have your main website or blog URL
• And Obviously… In your powerpoint presentation ensure you have your URL visible in the footer like my example below.
And That’s about it
• It seems too easy I know
• Please Note: Google may change their algorithm so
this doesn’t work in the future as a strategy on its
own
• But as of April 2008 provided your content is
relevant to your keywords this technique works very
effectively (as google wants to promote relevant
content). See my example on the next slide
