Background:
First aired in 1973 at their London Station.

Jeremy Kyle:
Host of his own show The Jeremy Kyle show.
On 5th September 2004, he presented the Confessions show on London's
Capital FM. The new programme aired Sunday to Thursday from 10pm to 1am
with live calls on relationship issues of all kinds. Capital Confessions came to
an end on 22 December 2005 to make way for The Jeremy Kyle Show.
Chris Moyles:
DJ and Presenter, best known for presenting on Radio 1.
In 1996, Moyles joined Capital FM hosting his weekend show The Late Bit,
which went out on a Friday & Saturday evening.
In 1997 he joined BBC Radio 1.
Richard Bacon:
Known for being a Blue Peter presenter.
Was a DJ for Capital FM after he had worked at BBC Radio 5 Live.
Gillies, Emily, Zoe and Marvin:
Gillies, Emily and Zoe are all presenters.
Marvin is known for his work in the boy band JLS.
Paul Gillies and Emily Segal do the Capital Breakfast show.
Segal replaced Zoe Hanson in 2013.

I think the majority of this audience is between the ages of 15-21.
Because of the type of music on the show being the latest UK top hits and
potential chart smashes.

recent test passers. So the people looking for driving lessons and car
insurance deals are usual between the ages stated.
Artists include: Avicii, Calvin Harris, Rita Ora, Sam Smith and Ed Sheeran;
recent young artists who are at the height of their career.

Background:
First aired in 30th September 1967.
In the early stages, Radio 2 settled down as a middle-of-the-road station;
playing laid-back pop/rock, folk and country, jazz and big-band music, easy
listening, light classics, and oldies, with significant amounts of comedy and
sport.
James Moir a presenter in 1996, was said to be the nations favourite playing
contemporary music aimed at a more mature audience.
Russell Brand:
Is an English comedian, actor, radio host, author, and activist.
Brand co-hosted The Russell Brand Show beginning in April 2006 on BBC Radio 6 Music. In November 2006, the show transferred to BBC Radio 2 and aired on Saturdays from 9 – 11pm.
Alan Carr:
Is a comedian.
Carr made his radio presenting debut on Christmas Day 2007 for BBC Radio 2
as part of their Festive Highlights, with the show Alan Carr's Christmas Box.
He also presented Alan Carr's Comedy Outings for BBC Radio 2 in 2008.
On 25 April 2009, Carr began hosting Going Out with Alan Carr, a new show
for BBC Radio 2.
Clare Balding, Jools Holland and Elaine Paige:
Clare is a former jockey and now sports presenter, she does the
religious/spiritual programme Good Morning Sunday on BBC Radio 2, Started
in 1994 as a trainee.
Jools Holland is a musician, he regularly hosts the weekly programme Jools
Holland on BBC Radio 2, which is a mix of live and recorded music and general
chat and features studio guests, along with members of his orchestra.
Elaine Paige is a singer and actress, since 2004 she has hosted her own show
on BBC Radio 2 called Elaine Paige on Sunday..
Target Audience:
Adults over the age of 35 (82% of listeners).
Stand in presenters include Len Goodman, a Ballroom dancer and currently
the host of Strictly Come Dancing, fits in with the target audience age.
No adverts as it is BBC.
Schedule includes, looking at todays newspaper, interviews and debates on
political issues (election).
