MOVIE MAKER

Windows movie maker (WMM) is an excellent program to create and edit videos (with images,

sounds and videos), with the possibility of save this videos in the computer or upload this videos

directly to web page of internet.

This wonderful utility integrates a comprehensive graphical interface, allowing best results and an

excellent graphics. WMM includes the possibility to incorporate multimedia devices to facilitate the

creation of videos.

The principal parts of WMM are:

Menu Bar: Like any other program, in the superior part of WMM we can see: File, Edition,

See, Text, Window, Help, etc.

Tasks Panel: In this part is when we edit the video putting credits, importing images, video,

audio and put the effects transition of the video

Storyboard/Timeline: Show the video in parts and the effect transitions that we have

between one and another image and show the time

Preview Screen: Show the video complete and obviously can be edit before save it.

Content panel: Show the images, video, audio and effect transition imported from the

computer.

Characteristics:

Simple: The working of this program is very simple, also allows use all the tasks with major

complication.

Lightweight: WMM is a utility that use a little space, and can be use in any modern

computer.

Practical: It´s feature set is very practical, so can be accessed or modified according to user

preference.

Effective: Within its applications, have several features unique among this class. This makes

the program effective and also simple.

Updated: This application has a constant cycle, for that, the user see the improvements

have regularly implemented.

ADOBE FLASH

Is a multimedia platform used to add animation, video, and interactivity with web pages. Flash is

usually used for advertisements and games.

Flash manipulates graphics to provide animation of texts, drawing and images. It supports

bidirectional transmission of audio and video and can capture user input via mouse, keyboard, cam

and microphone.

Flash content may be displayed on various computer systems and devices, using Adobe Flash Player

which is available free in the web browsers.

The principal parts of Adobe Flash are:

Menu bar: Like other programs has: File, Design, See, Text, help, etc.

Timeline: Shows the time of the work.

Working Area: Here is when the users put the images and paint it or make modifications.

Also the users can draw in this area

Tools bar: Shows the tools to create a draw, view of images, colors, and any other controls

like the movement of images and draws.

Property panel: Shows the properties of the images and the draws.

Other bar of panel: Can edit the images, like the size, the name and accommodate the

image or draw.

Characteristics:

Support to import files from Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator.

Support to Action Script (the language of Adobe Flash) with the full compiler and support to

depurate mistakes.

Tools for the editing codes

Create illustrations more precise with the pencil inspired in Adobe Illustrer

Possibility to convert animations of timeline to Action Script with the ability of copy, reuse

and copy animations from an object to another

Permits preview the content made in the working area
