Canada Job Grant Application Process

Before you Apply

• Identify the training needs for each employee

• Select a qualified training provider such as Global Knowledge

• Receive a quote for training plan

• Choose training dates that are at least 30 days out from the point you will submit your application

Application Process

• Complete and save application form

• Submit application form to designated Service Provider or Provincial Ministry Office

• Receive approval and reference number from Service Provider or Ministry Office

• Fill out Participant Registration Form where applicable

Training and Reimbursement

• Pay for training • Complete and save the

Reimbursement Form • Include original receipts• Complete Electronic

Funds Transfer Form if applicable

• Submit forms and receipts to Ministry Office

• Receive either full or partial reimbursement (process varies by province)

Final Steps

• Employee receives training and obtains training certificate and / or credential

• Submit completion form and certificate to receive remainder of reimbursement (applies to those provinces that pay in two installments)
