• Cost saving estimates on completely depainted C-130 aircraft processed at WR-ALC indicate a savings of approximately $12,000 per aircraft.
• Annual savings are approximately $444,000 based on 37 aircraft processed a year.
• Of more importance, is the elimination of the chromates from C-130 prepaint treatment waste stream that will result in reduced personnel exposure to the know carcinogen, hexavalent chromium.
