Creating and Editing Workspace Pages, Adding Comments
This tutorial will show you how to create and edit Workspace pages. You can also leave comments on existing pages.
To create a new Workspace Page, click on the ‘Create a page’ link at the top-right corner of the Workspace.

Next, type in the name of the new page – in this example we’ll create a page called “Demonstration Page.”

Your new page will open up in Edit mode. You can now begin to add text, images, tables, and plugins to your page.

Creating a page is quite similar to using a word processor, like Microsoft Word.
The Toolbar at the top of the page allows you format text and add elements like tables and links.

This is a very useful feature. You can add links to: • other pages in the Workspace. • any file available on the Workspace. • any web page on the internet.
Inserting Links

Select the text that you want to use as your link, and then click the Insert Link button to open a selection menu. Choose the type of link you want to make (a web page’s URL, PBWorks page, etc.) and then Click ‘OK’ to create the link.

The link will be underlined and coloured.

Tables can also be added to documents. Click this button to open a table properties menu.

You can select the number of rows and columns, table width, cell spacing and padding, and text alignment. You can also select column sorting and table borders.
When you’re finished your page, click Save.
The page will switch to View mode, and the Toolbar will disappear.
Now in View Mode
Click on the EDIT tab to edit the current Workspace page.
Now in Edit Mode
You can edit any Workspace page you’d like, even ones you didn’t create.
Just be sure to Save your changes when you’re finished.
CommentsYou can also choose to leave comments at the bottom of any Workspace page. Comments are great if you just want to leave a quick note but don’t want to edit the page.
Click to save the comment to the page.
