• OMTS is an interactive hands on virtual training tool for technicians and operatives to improve skills

• This tool is used to provide training on the Operation, Maintenance and Troubleshooting of any equipment by using the actual tools in virtual environment

• It is also used to provide training on Equipment Construction by accurately simulating the various systems and sub-systems involved

The engine: It is a set of generic simulation components implementing various customized features including a robust application to evaluate the performance of the trainees through customized reports

The training course is divided into three units

• Discover – The trainee is introduced to tappet setting by visualizing the components and tools involved

• Component identification – The trainee has to identify the list of components involved in tappet setting

• Tappet setting operation – The trainee performs the entire tappet setting operation and is evaluated based on his performance
