Desktop

• The desktop computer consists off a monitor, keyboard, mouse and CPU. Most components will be connected to the monitor for it to function properly. If you are a regular user off a PC a desktop will be best because it is reliable. The main place you will see a desktop computer in use will be in a office.

Laptop

• A laptop is a portable computer. Unlike a computer everything is build inside the laptop. You do not have a mouse you have a touchpad and the monitor is built into the laptop along with the speakers.

Tablet

• Tablets are portable touch screen devices that you can use to play games for internet use and to use email. An example of a tablet would be a ipad.

Games console

• A games console in a visual interactive game that can be put onto a monitor/TV and played through a controller. Another advantage off the latest game consoles would be you are also able to have internet use and even catch up on the latest TV that you have missed it the last week.

Mobile

• A mobile is a portable phone that allows you to communicate with people you know either through sms or calling them. On smart phones you get a operating system called android which allows you to use the internet use sms, call people and email. The iphone has an operating system called IOS that does all off the stuff the smart phone can do but faster.

PDA

• A PDA is a smart phone. It allows video calls it allows you to take pictures. The difference between a smart phone and a normal phone is the fact on a smart phone it allows you to do things such a video calls and the smart phone still allows you to use sms and also allows you to call people.
