Night Vision signifies the ability to see in the dark which has been possessed by owls and cats.
It is originally developed for military use as well as for wildlife photography.
With the proper night vision equipment, one can see a person standing over 200
m away on a moonless, cloudy night.
It is quite easy to see everything during the day...
But at night, we can see very little.
Night Vision Technology lets us
Law Enforcement.
Wildlife Observation.
Military night vision goggles and armed tanks.
Hidden objects detection.
Step 1 :- Focusing the available light. Step 2 :- Electrons released from cathode.
Image Intensification Process
Step 3 :- Electrons enter micro channel plate. Step 4 :- Collision of electrons.
Step 5 :- Creation of chained reaction. Step 6 :- Electrons hit phosphor screen.
Image Intensification Process
Step 7 :- Green Image Creation. Step 8 :- Viewing resultant image.
Today in the 21st century, we have come a very long way in the development of night vision technology from the early 1940’s.
Night Vision devices are designed for military as well as wildlife photography purposes but the application within the scientific or civilian range is prohibited by law.
Presently, the applications of this technology are required to combat terrorist activities which is one of the major problems faced by mankind.
