Nick Barnett, CEO

Nick has over 10 years experience of working across a
combination of telecoms, technology, online media and
advertising and brings a wealth of relevant experience to
the role of CEO.
Prior to Mippin, Nick was Managing Director, Phorm UK,
delivering targeted online content & advertising solutions.
Previously he was Vice President, Corporate Strategy and
Development at O2/Telefonica where he was responsible
for leading key operational, strategic development and
M&A activities at O2, and following Telefonica’s
acquisition of O2 in 2006, Nick spent much of his last year
working in Madrid with Telefonica’s corporate
development and strategy team.
Prior to O2 Nick worked at McKinsey & Company
specialising in the TMT sector, working with a range of
telecoms operators, equipment manufacturers and
telecoms service providers, mainly focussing on new
product development & market expansions, as well as
managing a number of e-commerce business-builds .
David Mannl, Founder and Creative Director

David Mannl is the Founder and Creative Director of
Mippin and has over 10 years experience in UI design in
mobile technology.
Previously, David was a Senior Multimedia Designer at T-
Mobile International in London. From 2002 he worked with
Siemens Mobile and Macromedia, specializing in Flash
for mobile devices.
David loves mobile design and technology, and takes
pleasure in creating a great user experience on the small
screen.
He is a Macromedia Max award winner, Nokia Developer
of the Year and Forum Nokia Champion and Nokia
Innovator of the Year and Google Android Developer
Challenge Winner (ADC2).
