Solution description

DLK CAS Distributed (ECS) Architecture –

Option-1

The Central (Main) Headend is designed for

supporting 2 Mn subscribers and 500 Services.

The EMMs will be managed centralized it means all

the database and SMS commands will be handled

from the Central (Main) Headend.

All the Remote Headends (LCOs) will be connected

to main headend for the activations of the subscriber

in that location.

The encryption of the content (ECM) will be done

locally at all the remote headends.(500 services)

Solution description DLK CAS Centralized (ECS) Architecture – Option-2

The Central (Main) Headend is designed for

supporting 2 Mn subscribers and 500 Services.

The EMMs as well as ECMs will be managed

centralized it means all the database, encryption and

SMS commands will be handled from the Central

(Main) Headend.

All the Remote Headends (LCOs) will be connected

to main headend for the activations of the subscriber

in that location as well as for the Encryption of the

content at the LCO Headend.(500 services)

There will not be any CAS Headend equipment at

LCO end.
