New Idea… How to create my own expert list

Use the TechnoSpark to track those experts who have contributed before. Create a report which can show their expertise area. This can track their contribution for their own good. Publish at the e-Portal main page asking for expert to contribute. Tracking those authors who have contribute article. They will be expert

finally.

Google ChatBack Ask IT to evaluate the possibility of implementing this feature. Find out more about this tool in terms of what they offer and how can I

Create a module in e-Portal where user can say something…. anything??

TechPoll Should have reporting module for all the poll question and response that I

put up. Only like this we can know whether is there any improvement.

Birthday Boy Let engineer to sign up and state down their birth date. Main page (may be not the main page, but a separate page) will display

their birth day wishes and photo. Other engineer can come in and wish him/her happy birthday.

Wall of Fame slides Make one slide which is interactive one where people can use mouse and

click and see the effect. Every time we put up new slides, we put it up on e-Portal. Put up some questions and then got competition. Who watch it first and

get answer will win a token.

New Idea… Make New Engineering Orientation e Version

Automate the new engineering orientation. Advantages:

- Less resources required (from Bandwidth and content experts)- New engineer can attend to it immediately- Create a database to track who has attend to it- Consistent presentation- Access anytime- Can have question and answer also- Presentation can be made in a more attractive way- Any Agilent employee can attend, not just new engineer- After watching can provide feedaback online

New Idea… Put Bandwidth team faces on the e-Portal

Put all Bandwidth team faces up in the e-Portal main page. User don’t have to log in. After click on the picture, he can asked anything related to training and e-

Portal. They can provide feedback anonymously or with email address so that we

can respond to them. Link this feature with the e-Portal feedback system and also the email.

Once user ask question, that question will log into the feedback system database. When we responded to that question, it will track also.

Add WidgetBox things into e-Portal Access those codes from WidgetBox and then put them into e-Portal. Copyright issue?? (test out and see whether it will work or not first)

New Idea… Equipment due for Calibration

Extract the current calibration database from another system. Have photographs for each instrument (obtainable Agilent site). Anybody can see which equipment is going to due this month, next

month…. Cal guy can know who is the owner of the equipment. Owner can update the equipment location at e-Portal. Cal guy can update the status, next due date and etc through e-Portal. Anybody who found the lost instrument can report through the e-Portal. When cal guy wants to recall instrument for calibration, he just need to

click on that instrument in the list and will link the email to the owner. He just need to key in few information and the email will be send straight.

Concern ---- certain instrument cannot let other knows?
