INTRODUCTION

Nano science primarily deals withI . Synthesis, characterization

II . Exploration, and exploitation

Nano materials are defined I . 1 dimension in the “ nm “ Range. II . 1 nm size = 10 Hydrogen atoms

Although nanotechnology is a new area of research, nonmaterials are known to be used for centuries.

For example :The Chinese used gold nanoparticles

as an inorganic dye to introduce red colour into their ceramic porcelains more than thousand years ago.

INTRODUCTION

PURPOSE OF NANOTECHNOLOGY

1. To assist of the potential for using Nano-enabled technologies in the cleanup of radioactive contamination.

2. To assist with the development of viable technologies in this area.

APPLICATION OF NANOTECHNOLOGY

NASA: Computer Technology things Better Software• From real-time weather

visualization and forecasting, high-resolution 3-D maps of the Moon and Mars.

• To real-time tracking of the International Space Station and the space shuttle NASA funding on other software advancement initiatives.

• Benefiting such areas as photo/video image enhancement, virtual-reality/design, simulation training, and medical applications.

Structural Analysis

• NASA software engineers have created thousands of computer programs over the decades equipped to design, test, and analyze stress, vibration, and acoustical properties of a broad assortment of aerospace parts and structures

• The NASA Structural Analysis Program, or NASTRAN, is considered one of the most successful and widely-used NASA software programs

• NASTRAN has been employed in a host of non-aerospace applications and is available to industry through NASA’s Computer Software Management and Information Center (COSMIC).

• COSMIC maintains a library of computer programs from NASA and other government agencies and offers them for sale at a fraction of the cost of developing a new program,

MATERIALS AND ADVANCED MATERIALSTraditionally used: Aluminium metal

Aluminium made planes heavier, consume more fuel, Composites are stronger Composites makes aircrafts 20% lighter Fuel efficient The resin matrix flows over Nano fibres. Heat is remover and it solidifies. It can be formed into various shapes. In some other cases which the fibres are to be wounded tightly to increase the strength.

SENSORS

sensor is an object whose purpose is to detect events or changes in its environment, and then provide a corresponding output.

Nano sensors can be classified in two main categories:

sensors that are used to measure Nano scale properties

sensors that are themselves Nano scale Components (It results in lower material cost as well as weight & power consumptions)

Conclusion

• By analyzing this research paper , can easily estimates, Nanotechnology uses Computer Science in aeronautics is evolved in future we can see more and more applications of Nanotechnology using computer sciences in aeronautics.
