3. The Bridge Of Merida The bridge was first built work in the
city, strategically built to protect both the colony as the eastern
territory of the peninsula. The bridge is constructed with a
concrete core that is lined with granite blocks.
4. Aqueduct of Merida The aqueduct supplied water to Emerita
Augusta (Mrida). Arco and piles of the lower order on the river are
considered Albarregas time of Trajan, the rest is Constantinian
era.
5. The Circus of Merida is in acceptable condition, although at

6. The Roman theatre in Merida The Roman theater in Merida is
considered as one of the most important works of Roman
architecture. It has been refurbished and still fulfills its
function as a theater. We will see the parts of the Roman theater
and have a capacity of 6000 spectators. It is considered a world
heritage site
7. Arch of Trajan The Merida forum was surrounded by a series
of enrtadas which belonged to the Arch of Trajan. It would be the
main gateway to the forum
8. Temple of diana The Temple of Diana "probably stood astride
the first and second centuries AD Situated in the center of town
today. It is a temple located in the Roman Forum and dedicated to
the imperial cult. It peripteral and hexastyle, with floor of 41 by
22 meters, built of granite stone.
9. The amphitheater was built shortly after the theater and
located in its vicinity, thus leaving a monumental Roman
incomparable within the peninsula. Registration acquitted at the

11. Proserpina Reservoir. Five kilometers from the city is the
dam of water to the aqueduct. This important engineering work, with
some six km. perimeter and a length of 500 meters, says a dam with
an elevation of 7 feet above normal water level, with buttresses

12. Mitreo House. Located in the Cerro de San Albino, retains
an entry into a small courtyard with pond, impluvium and columns.
It found one of the largest mosaics in the Roman world, the well

13. National Museum of Roman Art. Although it had its first
record in the sixteenth and seventeenth century was set in place
