Did you ever notice the wide landscape of mechanisms that seem to be complementary but are in fact hard to combine? As we move towards mobile-centric technology and wearables, this landscape becomes even more difficult to navigate. Centralized group and identification mechanisms are starting to rise to fill this need, building out standards for how authentication should be implemented on emerging technology and devices. As these areas develop, the need for new security measures is also becoming paramount.
