Logistics Mobile App An Overview
Proposed mobile application will allow users to register, book the shipment, track the shipment & get rate card online (based on weight & distance) etc. Each and every detail concerning the logistics of delivery can be accessed through this app.

Registration / Log In
After installing the app user will get an option create a new account.
Existing user can login using the registered mobile number and password.
Social Log In and Sign Up option will also be there in the app.
New user will need to register first in order to user the features.

Dashboard
After registration and login user will reach the dashboard where he/She can have following functions:
Pick up : for scheduling a pickup My Shipment: status of his shipment
status My Info: user’s profile including address Notifications: Overall service notifications
including Pick up, shipment, profile update, customer service and grievance notifications

Book Shipment
User can go into the pick up option to choose his current location. There will be an option to choose a different location for pick up as well.
After choosing his location user need to mention the destination.
User can also mention items to be shipped and weight.
User can choose any of the available shipping options as Standard, Expedite or Priority.
Cost CalcualtorBased on the distance, weight & items the
cost will be visible on the screen.If user agrees on the cost, he/she can tap
“Book now” to confirm his pickup

Track Shipment
There will always be a “Track Shipment” option available in the dashboard. Where in user can punch in his tracking number to get the details of his shipment

Shipping Status
User can also track his/her shipment from the “My Shipment” Option.
Different stages of shipment like booked in, transit, arrived etc can be visible online as updated by Admin.
The screen also displays the Origin & destination for the items.

Shipment History
User's past shipments with details will display here. User can also search his / her shipments.
Search option would also be there to search the past shipment bookings.

My Info
User can edit and update his details like mobile number, address, email address, physical address etc. from the “My Info” option.
After editing the fields once user will tap update the details will be updated in the server.

Alerts
Alerts related to user’s services and requests will be seen under Notifications / Alerts option.
User also gets the pickup alert on the scheduled date
Shipment alerts can also be seen as there is any change in shipment stage
Customer service & Grievance alerts will also be visible. User can also go in to the alert to view the response received from customer service and can also respond.

Grievance Center
Status of existing complaints and past complaints can be visible in grievance center
User can also raise a new request by tapping “New Request”

New Request
“New Request” shows the following options:
General Feedback Grievance (Damage Shipments etc.) Enquiry
User need to mention his email address, consignment number and a brief about his query and choose any of the options above to submit it.

Contact Support / Chat
“Contact support” option allows users to contact support over the phone or chat.
User can initiate the chat by providing the consignment number, email address and brief description of the issues and he will be responded by an available agent.
