IntroductionThe Mindworx Salary Survey aims to gain insight into the compensation and employment trends and standards for individuals working as Business Analysts, Project Managers, Process Engineers and Business Intelligence Professionals in the South African market.
2009 sees the launch of the survey which will be conducted annually and, over time, track trends and deliver insights into this particular industry niche.
Specific objectives that will be covered: •Identify the salary levels in this industry •Analyse market trends in this sector•Understand the characteristics of Business Analyst, Project Managers, Process Engineers and Business Intelligence Professionals

Survey roll-out
The Mindworx Salary Survey was conducted online during the month of July 2009.
Respondents had to fall with one of following job types: Business Analyst, Project Manager, Process Engineer or Business Intelligence professional.
The survey comprises two parts; part 1 covers basic information and part 2, more detailed insights. Respondent were given a choice of either answering part 1 only or both parts 1 and 2.
