2. What have you learnt from your audience feedback? Audience feedback during construction In the following slide you will see a screen shot of some audience feed back during the construction stage of my main media products. It was vital to receive this sort of feedback throughout the entirety of my construction stage because I wanted to build a product that would be very well suited to my audience. 3. What have you learnt from your audience feedback? Screenshots of comments 4. What have you learnt from your audience feedback? How I built of this. It most obvious with the comment that helped me to decide which magazine cover to further develop also it really made me think about what to further develop with the Magazine cover in terms of design and content. It was also important as I then knew that my peers were looking at my work throughout the development of my products 5. What have you learnt from your audience feedback? How I kept building from the feedback From the comments on what I should improve it really helped me to focus myself on what needed to be done and also what had to be corrected. This is especially prevalent with the comments from the user SamTaylor as they explicitly highly what was good about my products and what needed to be improved to help perfect my existing products. 6. What have you learnt from your audience feedback? Feedback after construction For this I decided to record my audience and target market to find out what they liked about my products and also how I could do better. 7. What have you learnt from your audience feedback? Audience quote your trailers development is good however on the build up to the action scene it feels a bit slow This was one of the most influential parts of feed back I received as when I looked back at the construction I felt the same thing and that it was taking my trailer down a bit. So what I decided to do to add pace and drama I decided to do flashes for the two clips before the big build up. I think that this was a big benefit as it really helped my trailer to not only feel more professional but to also make it build that pace and drama that it really needed. 8. What have you learnt from your audience feedback? Another quote The trailers sound is good however I think that it needs a bit of talking to really tie it in with your genre This was also a major comment which I heavily reflected on during the construction. After thinking about it I decided to do a test run and see if the trailer would benefit from either a voice over or a talking scene. After I did the test runs I decided that a serious voice over was a better option due to the drama and effect it added to my trailer.Another reason that I decided to add it was the way it added to the story and gave a much deeper meaning to the trailer. 9. What have you learnt from your audience feedback? This was my first attempt at a magazine cover but I wanted to get a much better mag so I went to my audience to find out what I could do better. 10. What have you learnt from your audience feedback? How I developed the magazine from feedback I had a lot of comments about text sizes and the actual image on the magazine. So these were the main focus points for me as I wanted to get these right to really help the magazine. I started with the photo as I wanted to work round this image to really get a good build. Once I had the right image ,which was a blend of action and calm which I think I captured properly, I was able to move onto the text which was a bit more of an issue as I wanted to listen to my audience mostly but also wanted to conform to the stereotypes so I crafted a bled of the two which you can see well in the magazine below this slide. 11. What have you learnt from your audience feedback? Here is my final magazine cover which has taken all the audience feedback to mould it into the magazine it is now. 12. What have you learnt from your audience feedback? Quote from audience This was a vital quote to me and the progress of my trailer due to the fact that the audience didnt think I was aim at the right genre felt however that the footage that I had was sufficient for an action film but after review I would have to do a lot more editing so what I decided to do was to change my genre not completely but enough to ( with a bit of editing ) create a well produced ActionThriller trailer. The reason it would fit well into anAction Thriller genre is that it contains enough suspense for a thriller but still has enough action to maintain the action part as well which worked really well for me 13. What have you learnt from your audience feedback? Here is the poster In its first stages with no audience feedback but I wanted to get them involved so I asked around for some vocal feedback and below is the final version of that poster. 14. What have you learnt from your audience feedback? Poster feedback during construction I dont feel like the characters on the poster represent the true Saul bass style d make them more blocky I followed this quite heavily as I went back to the Saul bass posters especially the vertigo poster where the character was very abstract. So what I did was to make the character more blocky at the arms legs and feet but I kept the head the same as I felt that it was important to keep them the same instead of making them more square. 15. What have you learnt from your audience feedback? Final Poster after feedback 16. What have you learnt from your audience feedback? Overall conclusion I leant a lot from my audience in terms of what I wanted to do and where I wanted to go, through the development of my main media products. However I didnt always listen to my audience as I wanted to create product that I was happy with not just my audience as if I didnt have my own input it would have been the audiences not mine.Throughout the construction stages I got a lot of spoken feedback which influenced the way that I worked for the short time and which overall had a long term effect.
