Image for the front cover.

On this screen grab I used the magnetic lasso tool to remove the background from the photograph. The edges around the models were really rough after I had cut away the background. To solve this I used the smudge tool to smooth the edges.

Background.

I made the back ground by using brushes and textures to create the effect. Some of the brushes I made and others were pre-made. I chose to have a background like this because I though it looked grungy which made it look appealing to students.

Cover Lines.

This shows some of the cover lines I made to go on to the front cover. I kept them to the theme of the masthead so it looked organised.

Contents.

These are the boxes I made to put on to layers on the contents page. I made them look like instant photos as I thought It looked good against the background and with the theme of the magazine.

Contents background.

On the contents page I used the same lined paper design for the background as I did for the front cover. This adds to the similarities between the front and contents.

Finished Contents Page.

I put another picture at the bottom of the page to add more interest to the page. And I added text to show what else is included in the magazine.
