Madrid was founded in the VIIth century by visigotics (although some prehistorics objects were founded). Carpetian, Muslims, Roman Empire, Cristians…every culture has left its

cultural heritage.

MADRID population has grown since 830.000 inhabitants in 1910 to 6.5 million in 2013.

MADRID has been always considered as an open city for foreigners…

Foreigners living in Spain: 5.4 million people (12% of total population).

Foreigners living in Madrid: 1 million people (22% of total population). How can we deal with

this?

There´s not racist behaviours but the integration is far from reality…There´s not big guettos, but much foreigners don´t feel as spanish…

35% of Tomillo´s students are foreigners (in some groups is 60%).
