App store Windows 8 app storre has around 150,000 apps, Windows took time in introducing its mobile version of the app store. Although, having a rapid development in Windows Store, it is still far away to touch Apple’s App Store.

Apple's App Store is by far the most famous of all app stores/markets across all OS'. iOS7 brings in some updates, such as being able to search for apps based on age range, or the 'Apps near me' feature, which shows you the most popular apps in your location. Apps can also update in the background, it has around 900,000 apps.
