Leveraging strategic synergies to source new paradigms of learning
Impacting the information society
Squaring the circle
Building opportunities for learning beneficiaries draws upon the three backbones of the information age
• Lifelong Learning – continuing adult education for everyone who messed it up first time around
• Online Communities – including communities of practice, networks of excellence, excellent networks of practice communities etc.
Squaring the circle 2
• Knowledge Society – including the Internet, the web, the telephone directory and personal lists (things to do, shopping etc.)
However, we need to transcend our two-dimensional paradigm. Not simply square the circle, but tetrahedronise the sphere.
