Farrell Model HP Compaq 6530b Criminal Charges Resisting Arrest, interfering with a peace officer and assaulting police. REPORT: It was nearly a month after being reported stolen that the missing laptop started to show unauthorized activity. Using LoJack for Laptop’s forensic tools Absolute investigators were able to capture the users ID which provided local police enough information for a home visit. When the officers arrived at the home they were able to speak with the accused’s mother who led police to a pawn shop before admitting the laptop was back at the house. When the detectives finally retrieved the laptop from the suspect, she became extremely agitated - physically and verbally assaulting the officers. The officers were able to subdue and handcuff the woman who is now facing charges of resisting arrest and assaulting a police officer. Despite being assaulted, local police were able to retrieve the stolen laptop.
