The Tree
The tree grew year after year. It was there in the fall, winter, spring and summer. In the winter, it had no leaves. The birds used the branches to perch.
Make a Digital Book
Back
Let each student make a single page and combine to make a class book or let each student make several pages for their own individual book. Save these to a CD or upload to your blog for the students to share.
Make a Single Slide
Using PowerPoint let each child make a single slide to use as the visual to a presentation.
•Insert a scanned picture or page from the book to go with an oral book report.
•Insert a picture or map to go with a report on a state, country, animal, insect, etc.
•Insert a digital picture taken by the student to illustrate a piece of writing.

Making titles in a larger font size than the other information. Finally, they cut this out and glue it on to complete the poster or print and enlarge with a poster printer .
These ideas can be used with any subject or topic.
Try it with:
• Math Make slides using different ways to solve the same problem
• Language ArtsTake pictures of students during Reader’s Theatre and let them explain the scene.
•ScienceTake pictures of experiments and explain the process and outcome.
•Social StudiesChoose to make a time period book. Let each student illustrate
something different from the same period. For example, famous people from the 80’s, or medical advances, or fashion changes, etc.
