When to Consider SAP DMS-cProjects Integration

� If you are already using the DMS and you want to ha ve access to existing DMS documents via Project elements

� If you want to exchange your documents between the SAP system and cProjects

� If you want to add further functions beyond what is available in the “Documents” tab of cProjects

� Control, Classification, Linking, etc.

� If you want to map your project structure using the DMS document structure

Documents Linking Process (cProjects side)

� Select the Project Element

� Project Definition

� Phase

� Task

� Checklist/ Checklist Item

� Select the Link Type

� Without Template

� With template

� Existing document

� Select the Document Type

and Name



SAP DMS – SAP cProjects

� Once Link is created Documents can be transferred b etween SAP cProjects and SAP DMS

� Resource authorized ton the Project Element to at l east View can see the Document/Link



Documents Linking Process (SAP DMS side)

� Log into SAP Easy-DMS

� Open a explorer type window where u can search for a specific folder

� Once the type of document is selected you can enter various fields to search and sort

� Click Search



Document Linking Process (SAP DMS side)

� From the list find the folder associated to the cProjectProject

� The folder structure is now displayed and can be edited and desired

� The folder structure appears as is on SAP cProject side
