Based on the adults characters, It is reasonable to conclude thatType I is Female and Type II is Male.

Conclusion
I Sex determinationI Except for the first instar, S9 can be used as a character to
determine sex.I In the 6th and 7th instar, Mesonotum and Metanotum can
also be used to determine sex.
I Instar determinationI S9 can be used to determinate 5th,6th,7th instar of female.I S8 can be used to determinate 7th instar of male.
