TESTIMONIALS

Florida Department of Community Affairs Community Development Block Grants

“I have worked with Casey Clark Simmons for over six years in her capacity in

managing Community Development Block Grant Programs as a Consultant for local

governments in the State of Florida. I have worked directly with her on many projects

and always found her to be a professional in every way. She has excellent Grant

Management skills, which includes compliance with MANY different HUD and other

complicated Federal Program requirements that apply to these grants, as well as

compliance with State Laws of Florida. She is excellent in financial management,

organizational skills, Federal Labor Standards compliance, Environmental

requirements and documentation, Contract Management overall, excellent people

skills, excellent in handling situations that sometimes come up which involve complex

issues, political considerations, diplomacy, etc. Most of all, I have appreciated her

honesty and her being forthright with all of her responsibilities. I could go on for a long

time, but suffice it to say, I really have enjoyed (and continue to enjoy) working with

her on projects. She has completed several “2 year” projects in one year, thus

allowing the local government to get back in line to submit another application in the

next year’s funding competition.”

HospiceCare of Southeast Florida, Inc.

“…Casey is very knowledgeable, hard working and delightful to work with both in

person and on the telephone. She responds to questions and requests for information

promptly, and …works well within your timeframe. She is creative when researching

grants and when writing them, and then as the administrator of the grant she handles

all the necessary paperwork, meetings and reporting.

We have recommended Casey and Innovative Concepts, Inc. to other organizations

and individuals. We will continue to recommend Casey and her firm to those who

need quality grant and research consulting… Any association you will have with

Casey and her firm will be a win-win for both.”
