Instead we are inviting our guests and attendees to join us April 11th for digitalmusic.org’s Music Start Up Academy. The Music Start Up Academy is meant to provide aspiring entrepreneurs with all the information they need to break down the music industry’s barriers for entry, encouraging the creation and growth of innovative new music companies. Specifically, these sessions will address the core structure, legal framework, content deals, business models, and other fine details required for the establishment of a legal, streamlined, and competitive music property. "Musicians and artists, technology professionals, entrepreneurs and investors who are interested in doing business in the expanding digital music space should take advantage of this half day course in what makes digital music businesses work," said Steve Bogard of The Copyright Forum At Belmont University.
