Implementation of Projects Is Crucial The word Implement simply means to put (a decision, plan, contract, etc.) into effect. Implementation brings a lasting impact on something or changes the shape of a place or environment. Whenever implementation of a project has taken place never remain the same. It comes with changes. When you hear the name Pharaoh (Title of Ancient Egyptian rulers) what resonates in your mind? It is normally associated with oppression and nega- tivity. But there is some important truth we can learn from this Pharaoh who ruled Egypt during the time of Joseph the Patriarch. He understood the im- portance of implementing projects. This is seen when he appoints Joseph to supervise food storage in his capacity as Prime Minister of Egypt. He actu- ally relinquished his power to Joseph save the throne to ensure that their responsibilities be- stowed upon Joseph succeed. Read Genesis 41.

Implementation of Projects Is Crucial The word Implement simply means to put (a decision, plan, contract, etc.)

into effect. Implementation brings a lasting impact on something or changes

the shape of a place or environment. Whenever implementation of a project

has taken place never remain the same. It comes with changes.

When you hear the name Pharaoh (Title of Ancient Egyptian rulers) what

resonates in your mind? It is normally associated with oppression and nega-

tivity. But there is some important truth we can learn from this Pharaoh who

ruled Egypt during the time of Joseph the Patriarch. He understood the im-

portance of implementing projects. This is seen

when he appoints Joseph to supervise food storage

in his capacity as Prime Minister of Egypt. He actu-

ally relinquished his power to Joseph save the

throne to ensure that their responsibilities be-

stowed upon Joseph succeed. Read Genesis 41.

Do you have some project lying in shambles? What are you thinking about

it? Jesus gave us an Antidote concerning projects. He challenges us, "For

which of you, intending to build a tower, does not sit down first and

count the cost, whether he has enough to finish it “ Luke 14:28 –NKJV.

In a competitive race, no one receives the crown (medal) before finishing

the race. There are rules governing every sport. There is a an on-going talk

about banning some athletes from participating in the Coming Olympic games

in Brazil due to alleged doping practices. Any Sport organization stands to be

penalized for turning a blind eye towards these evil practices. Russia is known

to produce some of the finest sportsmen in the world but they are facing a ban

by WADA (World Ant-Doping Agency). They are blamed for being complacent

during Winter Olympics Sports in Sochi in 2014. Their

sportsmen are worried. Why? They want to finish the

project they have been working on to win some med-

als. I trust this case will be handled well to avoid any

victimizing of sober athletes.

There are notable accomplishments by our predeces-

sors. Dr. David Livingstone (Missionary work in Africa).

Our Freedom fighters: Nelson Mandela, Mahatma Gan-

dhi and others, Martha Teresa (Missionaries of Charity),

William Wilberforce (Abolished slave trade in Africa) and Abraham Lincoln

(Abolished slavery in America). There are many who have been instrumental

in transforming people’s lives and we would love to sincerely honour them.

You do not need to have a great name or background to bring a difference. In-

vincible things are more powerful than the visible ones. Albert Einstein devel-

oped an atomic bomb from what the naked eye cannot see (atoms). Gideon

and Saul came from the least tribes of Israel yet they accomplished a lot in

their time. Judges 6:15, 1Sam. 9:21. Paul the Apostle was also from the tribe

of Benjamin.

There are genuine reasons that would hamper completion of

some projects like sudden death of the developer or owner. Even

in such cases there is a contingent plan that caters for that. We

are not talking about that.

While praying for his disciples Jesus said, "I have glorified You on the earth. I

have finished the work which You have given Me to do.” John 17:4. You might en-

dure some pain while undertaking a project, but there is joy in finishing what you

have started.

Jesus triumphantly finished His God-given Mission here on earth. “When Je-

sus therefore had received the vinegar, he said, It is finished: and he bowed his

head, and gave up the ghost.” John n19:30. Before ascending into heaven He en-

sured that His disciples had been prepared to be filled with the Holy Spirit in ac-

cordance with His Father’s Promise. Acts 1:4,8.

Apostle Paul finished his ministry on a high note. I

believe the best way of authenticating a process is to

hear from the horse’s mouth. Paul passionately

pursued the work that God had called him to do. On

his final lap he declares; “I have fought a good fight,

I have finished my course, I have kept the faith:”

2Ti 4:7 (KJV)

When God finished His work of

creation it was beautiful in His

sight. It is written, “Then God saw

everything that He had made, and

indeed it was very good. So the

evening and the morning were the

sixth day.” Gen. 1:31

That is why we should strive to fin-

ish every project we embark on

and finish it in its Implementation

Period. Our God is a finisher and we must be finishers too!
