HP and ETSI NFV POC
NFV, Network Function Virtualization, is the new revolution in telecom networks. It touches all network functions, from customer premises with Set-top box or enterprise VPN, to mobile base stations or DSLAM, core LTE/4G or IMS and back end functions in the data centers.
HP is working with Tier#1 operators worldwide and major vendors as well as small startup companies to make this happen.
The big topics of NFV architecture, implementation and deployment are being experimented, looking into End to End architecture of automated managed NFV networks, fixe or mobile use cases, multivendor architecture, performance and carrier grade aspects, NFV and SDN etc
