First…Gather your supplies.

This is going to be a collaged valentines day card…

You’ll need markers, magazines, scissors, and glue or tape.

I’ve grabbed myself some National Geographics and my room mates Cosmo for the magazines.

Now…Think about your audience. Who is this card for?

Your significant other?

Your cat?

I’ll make mine for a good friend of mine.

Search through your magazines for pictures that your audience might like, or can that

you make something out of.

Some pictures are better then others.

This one might be good for a mom or grandmother, for example.

This one…Not so much.

(Try to refrain from using pictures with text on them about diseases/disasters)

Now that you’ve got all your pictures picked out, cut them out

carefully.

With my valentine in mind, these are the pictures I chose and cut out. I included solid valentines day colored paper to make shapes out of.

Now it is time to cut your magazine pictures to size, and attach them too the blank card you already have made.

Think carefully about what you want on your cover, and what you want your valentine to see when they open in up.

Simply use glue or tape to attach the magazine pieces to the card.

Include personal touches,

like speech bubbles, hearts, hand drawn smiley faces.

You’re Done! Now show off that final product, and have the best

valentines day ever!

“Will you be my valentine?”
