Open Adobe Device Central CS5 and select Browse Devices.

The Device Library will show all of thedevices that you can create content for using Adobe

products. Find your target device (your mobile) and select it, right click and select Download Device Profile. Right click

again on your device and select Add to Test Devices.

Select your target device from the Test Devices panel.You will see the profile for your device. This contains info

about the Flash Lite Version for your device. For my Nokia 6300,the version is Flash Lite 2.0 and the Display Size is 240 x 320px.

Take note of this info as you’ll need it in the next step.

Select the Create tab at the top. You should see your device appear.

In the Player Version drop down menu, select the version of Flashthat your device is compatible with. In my case, it is 2.0. Next to

this menu, click Set to Fullscreen.

Ensure Use Customised Size is selected and enter the displaysize that you found in the Profile of your device. In my case, it

is 240 x 320px.

Create a short traditionalanimation. Do this by designing

your character in the first keyframe. Then click on the next

Frame and press F6 to add a newkeyframe. Make some changes

In this new keyframe. Repeat this process until you have a short

animation sequence.

Once you’ve finished animating, Select Control > Test Movie >

in Device Central.

Change the Content Type optionto Screen Saver to see your animation

As it will appear when it is a Screen Saver on your device.

Return to your Flash file and select File > Save to save your file.

Select File > Publish to publish yourswf file.

Copy your swf file to your device using Bluetooth or alternatively by connecting your device via USB to

your computer.

Go to your Screen Saver setting and select the file as your Screen Saver.
