How to create a slideshow at slide.com

Type www.slide.com/ in the address bar and press enter.

Click on Sign Up to create your own account (first time users).

Enter your name, email address and a password (handy hint: use the same email address and password for all web tools associated with your blog to make it easier to remember!).

Click on Sign In and type in your email address and password and click OK.

Click on Make a Slideshow.

Scroll down to add images (photos). Click on Browse.

Open the folder where your photos are saved (you can click on Thumbnails to see the images).

Hold down the CTRL key and click on the photos you would like to use in the slideshow then click on Open.

When photos have loaded, scroll down. Here you can change the order of the images and edit the captions. To rename your photo, highlight the text under the photo and type the new caption.

You can also change the size and colour of the caption or remove them if you don’t want them (click Clear All Captions).

Now comes the fun part! Scroll back up to Customise your Design to pick your style (how the photos change), skin (like a frame around your slideshow), theme (add decorations over the top of your photos), music if desired (this plays every time your slideshow is visible on your blog), background colour and effect if desired (colour tint, soft edges etc.).

When you are happy with your slideshow, click on Save.

As you make changes, you will be

able to see them here.

Give your slideshow a title. You can also add the name of the “Stars in this Show”.

Then click on Save Slideshow.

Click on Blogger to get the code for your blog.

Copy the code and paste it onto your blog as a new post.
