This bloklet is going to talk about water resources and how people use water here you are goung to learn news in this bloklet is very important to know how people use water. The natural terrestrial resources are vital for the survival and the development of the human beings. Some of these resources, as the minerals, the species and the habitats, are finite, that is to say, that as soon as they are destroyed or become exhausted, disappear forever. Others, as the air, the water and the wood, are renewable, though we tend to trust that the natural systems of the Earth will take charge of that return to grow, be renewed and be purified for us. Though many effects of the overexploitation of natural resources can do that they manage to turn into not renewable resources for this it is important to create conscience to take care of them.

• It is estimated 69% of worldwide water use is irrigation. Is some areas of the world is necessary to grow any crop ay all , in other areas it permits more profitable crops to be grown or enhances crop yield.

• It is estimated that 15% of worldwide water use is industrial. Major industrial users include power plants , which use power source ore and oil refineries which use water in chemical process, and manufacturing plants, which use water as a solvent.

• It is estimated that15% of worldwide water use is for household proposes. These include drinking water, bathing, cooking , sanitation, and gardening

• Recreational water use is usually a very , small but growing percentage of total of water use. Recreational usage may reduce the availability of water for other users at specific times and places

• Explicit enviroment water use is also a very small but growing perecentage of total water use. Enviromrntal water usage includes artifical wetlands, artifical lakes intended to create wildife habitat, fish ladders around dams, and water relase from reservios timed to help fish spawn.

PRIOR KNOWLEDGE

Example of no removable oil, because the petroleum can terminated, another can be water because every minute there is

no more new source of water. If we contaminate it there will be no more fresh

water

Example for renewable when we cut down a tree or plant two more and that is renewable

RESOURCES – RENEWABLE OR NON RENEWABLE

Food, air, water, and shelter. People need these to survive. The Earth provides resources for all these things. Natural resources are materials found on the Earth. They include air, water, and land. They also include rocks, minerals, and soil. Even living things are natural resources. These are the building blocks of all the things we need to live. Some of Earth's resources can be cycled over and over. These are called renewable resources. Others can't be replaced quickly. These are called nonrenewable resources. Renewable resources can be used and replaced over and over again. Using them will not reduce the supply that is available. Examples of renewable natural resources are fresh air, water, and soil. These materials are replaced by nature at a fairly fast rate.

Living things are renewable resources. People cut down trees to use for wood. They build and heat homes with it. If a tree is cut, another one can be planted in its place. In a few years, it will be as large as the one that was cut down. As it grows, it helps supply living things with oxygen, another important resource. Trees and other plants are examples of renewable resources.

The not renewable resources are natural resources that cannot be produced, cultivated, regenerated or re-used to a such scale that could support his rate of consumption. These resources frequently exist in quantities fixed or consumed much more rapid than the nature can recreate them.

Non Renewable resources

Earth's resources can be cycled over and over. Using them will not reduce the supply that is available.

They are the resources that are not capable of renovation, regeneration or recovery, in minor spaces to several thousands or million years, since they have been formed(trained) in the land in long geological periods.

the main they are mineral, such as oil, gold, platinum,

copper, iron, coal, diamonds and others.

• Water is an element in nature that is wasted by the man indiscriminately every day.The water available in nature for human use is a resource that may become limited, make proper use of water is everyone's responsibility and therefore there are tips to help you contribute in reducing consumption.- Check all plumbing and verify that the keys are good and there is no leakage.- To check if water leaks at home, close all faucets and check if the meter is ticking and if in the central box drain out water, if that's because something is failing.- The enclosed shower while we do the key for liters of water are wasted just like when we wash our teeth.- If you garden, not flooded, take the necessary water, do so preferably in the evening to avoid evaporation almost 50% of day.

• The use of freshwater resources is far from satisfactory, especially in agriculture. In some cases, these resources are overexploited if consumption exceeds the supply of renewable resources, thus causing an untenable situation.

Spending more water than was strictly necessary is not improving the quality of life. Do not let water run unnecessarily that one day you might need.

• When you are washing your teeth, don’t leave key open.

• When you washing your hands and you have soaped them don't close the faucet

• When To wash your car you must close the hose and use a bucket.
