Introducing HSCM

• Intelligent System that can maintain commodity data inventory, rules/policies and consumption trends with a user friendly web interface.

• Connected to the Home Wi-Fi network and can communicate with external world over internet and can do processing on data based on event triggers (e.g., home entry/exit) Can send e-mail and phone SMS

• Runs background scheduler based on user-created consumption trends. Can trigger event if rule parameter is close to threshold.

• It hooks into home entry-exit door and has attached receipt scanner to extract commodity data and quantity from receipts.

How it works

• Adults in family carry a electronic key chain that interfaces with HSCM

• When adult exits home after 6:00 PM on weekdays and between 9:00 AM – 10:00 PM on weekends, HSCM generates shopping list

• When adult returns home, prompts (with beep) to scan receipts

• If no qualifying trigger for “n” days, but threshold value reached based on commodity consumption, it will ring alarm and send e-mail to mobile phone.
