Answer: We have strategic partnerships with EMC, Microsoft and SAP; With these vendors we are investing and ramping up skills. Based on the customer situation we will consider other platforms; g p g p p ;e.g. With one of our customers we are deploying Open Source / Alfresco
Q: What about providing solutions in the private sector?
Answer: We actually have huge track-record in other verticals such as the banking and retail sector. For today we wanted vertical focus in the presentation but we are ready and capable to support other verticals. Actually the challenges and solutions in private sector are quite comparable.

The British Library is the national library of the United Kingdom and is one of theworld's greatest research libraries. It is a large reservoir of knowledge as well ashousing some of the most important literary works ever conceived. Everything fromShakespeare's Folio to Da Vinci's notebooks, and a collection of printed booksand manuscripts dating back as far as 300 BC, are kept at this institution.
Moving away from traditional methods The British Library receives over one andh lf illi t f t ll th ld f ta half million requests a year from customers all over the world for access to
research articles and over 80% of those requests are for a surrogate copy of anitem in the Library. In the past, the librarians would photocopy the required itemand mail it out to the customerand mail it out to the customer.
The British Library replaced all of their photocopying units with 110 Fujitsu imagescanners These scanners allowed for image capture on a much broader scalescanners. These scanners allowed for image capture on a much broader scaleand their image processing function allows for automatic adoption of the qualityof the original document. 70% of all output from the Library is now digital.
